Janna Miller was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, but has called West Virginia home for the past twenty-five years.

She and her husband have built a life there, raising their two children together. As a writer, Janna gravitates toward literary fiction, using storytelling as a way to explore deep, meaningful themes. This book, based on a true story, was inspired by her unwavering belief in the power of parental advocacy. She hopes to illustrate the importance of trusting your instincts—especially when it comes to your children.
